the dreaded ...RE-FORMAT...
Ahhhh.... My computer is fixed, and almost fully operational again.
After hours of fiddling, trying to get rid of some malicious adware/spyware/etc. on my computer, I finally decided it was time for a reformat. So, in the interest of not losing anything I copied all my important files to my external hard-drive and my partitioned drive, and started the process of the dreaded ...RE-FORMAT...
But, its all done now, and my computer is back up and running...BETTER than EVER. I'm even trying a new web browser. I had been using Opera, now I'm giving Firefox a shot, see how that goes. The only major downside right now is the inability to work on the novel. Its saved as a Word2007 file, a ".docx" if you will, and I am patiently waiting until Monday, when I hopefully get my hands on a copy of Office07. I wish I would've saved it as a Word03 file, or a ".doc", so I could work on it in WordPad. Stupid Microsoft, making us rely on their stupid Programs....
Anyway, that's all I really had to say today, nothing else major going on. I'm sure I'll be back before too long, especially since we canceled the cable and I have to wait 2 FREAKING MONTHS for a new episode of Smallville.
